The perception among Political Leaders / Elected
Officials in NYC is that members of our Union do not
include their constituents.

Our recruitment of Concrete Carpenters into Local
212 continues to focus on regular visits to projects in
NYC as well as follow-up meetings at our offices and
in our meeting rooms.

Since April 1, 2015, over 77% of New Members working
on High Rise Re-Inforced Concrete Projects are NYC
Residents.
